Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014 (A Year in Pictures)

2013 was quite a year and one that I will never forget.

It, without hesitation, was the best year of my life as we welcomed the beautiful Emery Kate to the world and began this being a parent thing. I don't know if there is anything as life-changing as becoming a parent. It changes you forever.

Even though it was the best year of my life, it will also go down as one of the worst and most emotionally trying years with the loss of my father in-law. We miss him everyday and I know that he looks down on us and laughs with pure joy at his granddaughter.

Here is my 2013 in all its glory...

January

February

Moved to Jenks

March

Celebrated Baby K // Co-hosted a bridal shower for Trisch

April

Finished painting the nursery // Watched the Thunder play // John participated in his first Tough Mudder // Bought a new car

May

June

August

Emery turned 2 months // E got her Delta wings // Visited "home" for a Sip & See // Ran Glow Run

September

Emery turned 3 months // Met Isa // Cheered on the Gamecocks // Soaked up the rays during our beach vacation // Attended Paul & Jenn's wedding in Charleston

October

November

December

Emery turned 6 months // Partied it up at Going Away Parties // Packed up stuff in Tulsa // Enjoyed E's First Christmas // Moved to Atlanta // Celebrated New Years in Blowing Rock

With all the memories that were made in 2013, I look forward to those that will be made this year.
So, welcome 2014 - the year my little sister marries her one true love, the year that we purchase a home in Atlanta (hopefully), the year when Emery turns the Big 1 and the year where we get to enjoy all the perks of living close to our family and lifelong friends.
